A mass was held at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Long Beach. We want to thank all of her friends for the kindness and support they have shown her and her family in this difficult time. The cards and calls never failed to lift her spirits. Her soul mate Barney Carbin and her daughter Dorothy precede her in death. She is survived by her sisters Betty, Ginny and Maureen. Her children, Joellen, Kenny, Julie, Terry and Brian, her 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that were considered family. After moving full time to Key Colony Beach in 1996 she became actively involved all facets of local life. A lector at San Pablo Church. Member and volunteer at the Moose, Yacht Club and KCB boating and fishing club to name a few. In her spare time, she helped organize the very popular KCB Concerts in the Park. One of her greatest passions and enjoyments was to serve on the board for KCB as Vice Mayor and Commissioner. In honor of her dedication for maintaining the quality of life enjoyed by her beloved community, Arline was voted into the hall of fame and had a day named after her Arline Carbin Day (25th February2010). This is a testament to how loved and cherished she was to all that knew her. Members of her family will be in KCB for a memorial mass to be said at San Pablo Church on February 26th at 11:00 am. We as a family again want to extend our deep appreciation to all our beloved Arline's dear friends for all laughs and good times she had in paradise with you.
